Staff were mostly professional but trip to Ottawa had two less than helpful service members. Not impolite but not great service...perhaps understaffed

I take the train frequently and its an ok experience with some areas that could use improvements. The service is reliable and staff friendly but the menu is overpriced and comfort is compromised for the high price of the ticket. If you do not book days in avance of travelling to benefit from the escape tickets of $37+tax, your ticket can be in excess of $100+tax; and everyone sits together in the same car and no special seats are given for the different classes from escape up to business etc. I know this because I have numerous receipts for these expensive tickets. The train 87 and 74 have hard red seats, hard and cannot slightly recline like newer trains with the navy blue or black leather seats. So falling asleep is hard for about 3 to 4 hours, for those who need a little comfort to be able to. Otherwise, reliable service.

Train station very well maintained. Wheelchair and walker accessible. Had preboarding for the train going to Toronto. Good experience.
